Little Mama

Norah walks around the house usually carrying a baby, a stuffed animal, a ball or all three! I love watching her play when she thinks no one's watching. She talks to her babies and, even reads to them!

A lion, a lamb, and 2 sing-a-ma-jigs out for a stroll with Norah!

I love this picture of Norah! It's like she's marching up to the Starbucks counter to buy her usual latte! Ha

8 Weeks!

Our little guy is already 8 weeks old! He's growing fast and already filling out his 3-6 month clothes. He does pretty good sleeping at night but, we have yet to establish consistency in nighttime feedings. One night he'll sleep til 4, the next til 1:45, then the next til 3:30... he keeps us on our toes I guess! During the day he eats every 3 hours like clockwork; he REFUSES to miss one single feeding!:) He smiles whenever we talk to him and loves playing under his play arch.

Just looking at these two pictures of Henry, makes me want to go wake him up so I can kiss his chubby cheeks!

Sunday Funday!

Yesterday was such a great day to spend inside bumming around the house. It was so cold and blizzarding outside. Although, I can't complain... our family in ND had a high of -3. Sorry guys....

These pictures of Joel and Norah melt my heart! They love to dance to Christmas music and laugh like crazy

Henry didn't care much for dancing yesterday but, he's usually my dance partner!

I am still baffled at what a big baby Henry is! He has his two-month checkup on Friday and I'm so curious to find out how much he weighs!

Also, Norah turned 17 months on Friday and she decided that she now longer needs a paci! We had been having to throw away pacis because she was biting through them and when we bought her new ones, she rejected them. I am so proud of her.... I was getting really worried when we realized she could bite through them. I worried that she'd bite the nipple completely off and choke on it. We weren't going to take pacis away from her until after Christmas but, she an early bird I guess! We thought pacis were Norah's comfort when falling asleep but, she's still going to bed with no problems.
Hopefully this picture from last Monday will be the last picture you'll see of Norah with a paci!

Have a great Monday!!

Henry and Joel

Probably talking about snowboarding and such!

Mornings with Norah

When Henry takes a morning nap, I get to enjoy breakfast with Norah. I love going to get her out of her crib in the mornings. She's all smiles when she sees me open her door. Her rountine involves hollering in a language that sounds like mandarin and throwing her blankies out of her cib. Once she's finished all that, she puts her arms out so I can help her out. I make her a waffle and get her a sippy of apple juice while she wanders around the house aimlessly until she hears me call her to breakfast. She then comes running over to her highchair and we enjoy a peaceful breakfast together.

You can see in these pictures that Norah enjoys moments of quiet these days!

Slight Disagreement!

I felt like I was glancing ahead to the future.....

It was just after Norah had finished eating her lunch. She ran over to Henry's swing, stopping it with her little potbelly. First, Henry looked at her and smiled.... afterall, this boy loves his big sis. Then, he realized she was giving him a smug look like she wanted him to get out of HIS OWN swing so she could let her sing-a-ma-jig have a turn. No way, Henry said in the form of his very own "stink-eye," which he clearly inherited from me. Pretty soon, both kids were screaming at each other and from the sound of it, Henry's death scream won the battle. Norah would end up pushing her pink sing-a-ma-jig around in her doll stroller and Henry would enjoy a relaxing nap in his swing.
