What's new

I can't believe it's already March!!! Well.... actually I can. This winter has been so strange and usually just cold enough to keep the kiddos and myself cooped up inside. We've got a bad case of cabin fever and, I'm ready for a change. 75 degrees sounds good to me. We're ready for long bike rides, picnics, playdates at the park, sidewalk chalk and bubbles and, last but certainly not least... garage sales!
I take the kids to Mcdonalds to play after their naps and sometimes we meet friends there for lunch after our Community Bible Study(CBS).
Taking a break from laundry to cuddle with my little buddy.
For Valentine's Day the kids each got a new Veggietales dvd and a balloon. They were SO excited!
We find Henry in these strange predicaments often! Stuck in a chair.... or under his crib while relentlessly searching for a paci..... or unable to climb out of his toybox.... in his defense, those toys really act as quicksand when he tries to crawl out!
Norah wakes up slow from her naps.
We've had lingering colds for what seems like foreverrrrrrr. That's why we think it's perfectly acceptable to change out of jammies in the morning.... into clean jammies for the day.
Henry's got an ear-infection which has made it hard for him to sleep well at night. I think we're on the up-swing now though, he's been on amoxicillan for 5 days and sleeping thru the night again. Praise the LORD!
This was the morning we went to the doctor. It was definitely time.
Despite sickness, there have been some super sweet, tender moments this past week, like the photo above.
Exactly 5 seconds after that sweet tender moment, Henry does this. Poor guy..
This motorcycle is such a source of joy and laughter for the kids. I would prescribe a battery-powered toy just like this one to any toddlers suffering from cabin fever.
Also going on with us...
Joel's Confirmation class is getting confirmed this Sunday! If you have a moment to pray for those eighth graders, that would be great.
I'm signed up to run a half-marathon in May! 13.1 miles! YIKES!
I hope to write more soon about all the amazing things the kids are doing. Norah's manners are getting crazy good and, Henry's talking more and loving playing with puzzles

I hope you're having a really great day!
