Garage Sale Loot

Saturday morning I was able to sneek out for about an hour and check out a couple garage sales. Thanks Joel, for being so amazing and watching the kids! Below are a couple pictures from a single garage sale! Everything was in such great condtion... most items look like they've never been worn!

 The majority are Carter's brand, which I love! They seem to fit Norah so well.

 Here's what I got:

5 pairs of pjs

2 skirts

3 pairs of jeans

4 pairs of shorts

1 pair pants

13 shirts

Total: $8.00

All items were either $0.25 or $0.50!

Norah was ecstatic about all the clothes, it was like Christmas morning for her! She loves clothes these days and actually, when she wakes up the first thing I usually hear her say(from her bed) is, "I want to wear my butterfly shirt." or "Mom, I want my princess shirt." Henry's usually in his bed during this time yelling, "How are you?!?!"

Henry didn't mind at all that I didn't find anything for him! Little brother understands it hit-or-miss with garage sales!

April Photos

As I look through out "April 2012" folder of photos, I'm reminded of what a great month it was. We spent many days at home bumming around the house, and ended the month with a quick trip to Tennessee to see family and pick up 1/2 a cow... and when I say quick, I mean we weren't even at our destination for 24 hours!! 

Here are a few April pictures....

The kids love hanging out in our room and, wait eagerly for Joel and I to leave the room so they can jump on our bed.

 Norah is our child that loves to cuddle.

 White-cheddar popcorn is our snack-of-choice lately.

 Please excuse the donut glaze on Norah's face in this picture!:) The kids like wearing my old glasses(the lens' were scratched so we popped them out).... I've even caught Joel wearing them a couple times!

One question I get asked more and more each month when the kids and I are out-and-about is "Are they twins?" This question always makes me smile. I absolutely LOVE having them so close in age. They really are the best of friends... for example: Thursday we got home from CBS and after I pulled into the garage, I let Norah out and she walked up to the house-door. I was walking around the car to let Henry out and I pressed the button to shut the garage. Norah though Henry was outside or something and she started bawling and screaming "Where's Henry?!?!" When I let him out of the car and she saw him, she was relieved and had to hug him!
