Recent Pictures

Since I started walking earlier this month, I have been one busy little bee. Here are some random pictures from the last few weeks.

Even though I love walking and carrying my toys from room to room, I still sit down several times a day with my books. Sometimes I'll show Mommy the book and she'll read to me but, sometimes I just turn the pages and look at the pictures.
And, when I finish reading, I put the books in the bathtub, by the door, in the dryer if it's open, in Mom and Dad's closet, etc. This is me requesting a bookshelf made by Daddy.:)
Mommy found me wearing my pj shirt like this one morning last week. I guess I was trying to get dressed for the day!
Stella, I'm brushing my teeth everyday.Mom, how come I don't get to use the mouthwash?!
Mom was sitting close by but, I didn't need any help.... climbing on boxes has become a favorite past time of mine!! Also notice, I try to avoid looking at the camera these days... this drives Mom and Dad crazy!! hehe

Just before dinner is when I usually get into all sorts of trouble.... Dad's just getting home from work and Mommy's getting dinner ready.
I've had my eye on this cabinet for some time now and this was the day that I finally climbed in!!

Taking a little break on my block cart.

Hmmm, what kind of mischief can I get into next?!

Weekend Fun

This past weekend we celebrated Mom and Dad's 2 year anniversary!! We kept it pretty low-key - since we just got home from Tennessee on Sunday we were okay with staying close to home. On Saturday we went to church and then ate at Olive Garden. Mom and Dad had no problem taking me with them on their date since I'm good in public and especially good if food's involved.

Here are some random shots from this past weekend.

These make for some good teething rings!!!
I love when Daddy pulls me and my toys around the house!! Can you see that I'm holding blocks and even a sandal?!My favorite time with Dad.
Mommy is about 31 weeks here.

Saturday morning I helped Dad water the lawn. I thought it was funny when the sprinkler got me.
Sure thing Dad, I'll get you more hose!!
No big deal.... just WALKING down the sidewalk!!

Reading books....
I was concentrating so hard that I didn't even notice when Mom took this picture.

This box is my garage for "lion." Not for long though... Mommy has been moving this box closer and closer to the door and looks like its next stop is the trash!!

I like to hold the phone up to my ear and say "bah bah bah bah."
When I heard the word "Chheeeesse" I break out this cheesy smile.

Cheeeeese!!

This morning Mommy discovered that my second top tooth has broke through!! She was so surprised because I slept 13.5 hours last night!! Usually when a tooth breaks through I'll wake up once but, I guess I'm getting the hang of this whole "teething" thing!
I hope you all had a great weekend!

Grandma Connie sent this funny mask last week. We have been having so much fun with it... usually Mom wears it and crawls around saying "woof woof" but, Saturday Daddy and I had some fun of our own. See for yourself
Giving the puppy "kisseys"I THOUGHT that was you Daddy!"woof woof"

Monumental August 4th!

This past month has been so incredible for our family but, August 4th was extra special. First of all, I am now WALKING! That's right folks, slow but steady I make my way all over the house! I started taking little baby steps here and there about a couple weeks ago but, now I have the confidence to walk... and even carry toys in the process! It has been exactly 3 months since I started crawling! This is my funny scrunched up face smile. We have no idea where I got it but, Mom and Dad love it because it gives them a good look at my gums up top!!
I was even carrying Mom's Bible around... but, needed a quick break.

Second, Mom has finished nursing me!!! We had been working for the past month on weaning me so Mom has a little break before my little brother comes. I was down to nursing once a day(before bedtime) and, yesterday Mommy fed me some yogurt when I would've normally nursed and I was fine with that!! She had prayed throughout the day that I wouldn't cry or insist on nursing and I didn't. Thank you Jesus!
August 4th also marked 30 weeks of pregnancy for Mom and little brother!! Mom's feeling great and baby's growing....and growing...and growing. He's measuring a little big(2-3 weeks ahead) and they say his head is already down! He's probably trying to speed up this whole "womb" process so he can come out and play with me. He must hear me laughing and playing and feel me sitting on Mom's "belly." I have been such a good girl too when I've went with Mommy to her doctor's appointments. I usually sit in my stroller and eat string cheese or some kind of snack. There's usually music playing so I bob my head and smile at all the nice ladies that work at the office. We will now start going every two weeks.

Mom at 30 weeks! Please excuse the quality of the picture! It may not look like it but, that is one comfy belly. I like to plant myself right on top and lay my head on Mommy's shoulder.

Lake Tansi, TN

This year marked my second annual trip to Lake Tansi, TN. I had so much fun playing with all my cousins! We left on Wednesday and came back on Sunday. We did a ton of swimming and playing outside. Good Morning!!! It's 6 am and I'm ready to start my vacation!!!
WHOA! Look how high Gunnar is swinging!
Our first morning there, all the cousins went and played over at the playground. It sure was nice of Gavin to push me on this swing!
Getting ready to go swimming at the beach.

Being silly while Daddy got me dressed for the day. I just love when he doesn't have to work and we can play all day!!Grandma Brenda bought everyone these shirts when we were in Tennessee in April. We all put them on and took some family pictures. Hopefully I can get my hands on some pictures of the entire family and post them.

Daddy and I with our rosey cheeks.
This was my very first time on a boat!! I enjoyed every part of it except for the life jacket. I cried when we were stopped but as soon as we'd start going I'd forget about the life jacket and I'd be fine. I was happy to get to see Daddy waterski.

Just visiting with Grandpa and Grandma.

Cousin Keith and I watching Gavin open some birthday presents. I feel so cool wearing Mommy's sunglasses.

AWWW the end to another great day at the lake!!

Stay tuned for a couple more pictures from our trip.
