Happy 4th of July!!

I was so happy that we got to spend my first 4th of July at Grandma and Grandpa Scholand's house. It was a beautiful day... perfect for pictures outside, riding bike, and a barbecue!
Danny and Laura had some pretty cool flag shirts. Mom.... where's my flag shirt?!?
Aunt Al and I had so much fun together!
Bring those lips over here for a kissey Mom!
Here's the 3 musketeers: Grandpa, Lamby, and Me!While I was upstairs napping, Daddy took my bike trailer for a spin! This year I'll sit in the middle but, next year I'll scoot over so my little brother can ride too.
In the evening, we went to my Great-aunt Joyce's house for a barbecue. Here Joyce is reading to me about silly monkeys!
Grandma even made sure that I had my own flag shirt to wear. Thanks!!!
I was busy watching Mommy, Grandma Connie, Daddy, and Joyce play bean bags.
As you can see Mommy and Joyce took the game more seriously than Daddy and Grandma!
I love making Grandma laugh.
We hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th of July weekend!

Celebrating 1 Year!!(Early)

When we arrived in North Dakota on Friday night, I had no idea what was in store for me on Saturday!! Cake, presents, family, and of course Grandpa knows I love string cheese so he had some waiting for me!!! Even though my birthday isn't quite here yet, I'm always in the mood for some cake and great company!
I think Grandma was surprised by how eager I was to help her in the kitchen!!Great-grandma Lottie and Dorothy came over for a small birthday party for me. I sure miss those two... I think we could have a lot of fun together!!I played so hard that I needed a little cuddle break with Mommy. When it came time to eat cake I was getting pretty tired....Everyone was singing "Happy Birthday"And, when they finished singing I clapped for them!Alright Mommy, I'll take a corner piece!!I played with my cake for about 2 minutes then, I started gazing into space. And I'm off to the bath!!After my bath I was completely re-energized!! Here I'm sitting in the awesome bike trailer I got from Grandpa and Grandma Scholand!! I was very excited to get this but, not nearly as excited as Daddy!Cuddling with lamby, Laura, Danny, and Mommy on the couch. It was a great day!!

Teething and Learning!

We learned many lessons this week at our house....Mom learned the first lesson of the week. She found out that I enjoy playing in toilet water just as much as pool water so, always make sure the lid is down!
When I was stuffed up last week, Dad put the humidifier on the floor in my room. It worked great at night but, Dad learned Mom wasn't kidding when she said I could tip it over. 20 minutes later Dad was wiping water up off my carpet. Oops, sorry about that!On laundry day, I discovered that I prefer chewing on socks rather than my teething rings!! I still haven't had any top teeth break through yet.... maybe the sock will help:) Friday night was a rough night at our house and we're blaming it on teething and a strange thunderstorm that popped up at 3 am!! I learned that Mom and Dad don't think it's as cute when I stand on their bed at 4am. The rest of the weekend was filled with rest and playing around the house.I hope everyone had a great week!

Good Morning!!

Mom and Dad think I'm hilarious when I wake up for the day. Stretching, cuddling, snuggling, smelling my blanket, laying with my rump in the air- it's all part of my morning routine. Here are a few pictures Mommy took last week of me waking up.
Just a few more minutes Mommy???
Daddy used to suck on his bottom lip when he was little too!! And, Mommy used to hold her blanket up by her nose like this! They smile when they see their old mannerisms in me.
Just about done here....
Okay, I'm ready for the day!!! I hope Grandma and Grandpa Scholand are ready for me and my antics!!

Daddy's Day Weekend!!

Last weekend I really tried to show Daddy how much I love and appreciate him, with a ton of kisses and hugs. I stuck to Dad like glue as you can see from the pictures below!
Mind if I sit under your chair Dad??
Just about in...
I love when Daddy tosses me into the air like this!!!
Weeeeee!!!!
Father's Day morning!! I slept in until 8:30 because I was so worn out from swimming at the big city pool on Saturday. We had so much fun swimming and Daddy even went on the big waterslides and diving board!!! We all rallied and pretty soon Grandma Brenda went down the waterslide!!!
Grandma Brenda bought me this Little People cart full of blocks for my 1st birthday while she was here. I've been having a blast playing with the blocks but, even more fun when Daddy pulls me around in the cart!I sure do love my Daddy!!
Three generations!!! Can you tell my Grandma is from Florida??! 90 degrees and long sleeves!!:)Grandma Brenda was able to come and stay with us for 6 days last week. We had such a great time together and can't wait to see Grandma again next month!!!You really are the World's Best Daddy!! I'm serious Dad!
