This year we were happy to spend about 11 days up in North Dakota for Christmas. We left Illinois Tuesday afternoon, arrived in Buxton Wednesday morning and had Henry's baptism Wednesday evening. It was a hectic few days but, it felt great to be home and also introduce our little guy to family. Great Grandma Lottie's first time holding Henry! She couldn't believe what a big cuddly baby he is!Henry showed off his lungs during the Baptism..... I think he was mad that we brought him to the frozen tundra THEN proceeded to pour cold water on his head. Sorry, bud.
Dad provided some musical entertainment! :)
Stella (Norah's Godmother) and Andy came bearing gifts, as usual!
The Welsh family with Henry! Thank you guys for coming!
My parents threw Henry a reception in the church basement after the Baptism. Everything was perfect. Great company, great food and great family. Thanks Mom and Dad!
Godfather Keith with Henry.
All 4 Skalet siblings!! Keith, Joy, Gail and their families were all in the ND/MN area to spend Christmas with their spouses' families so they all were able to attend Henry's Baptism. So great to have them there!!
The ever-growing Skalet family minus Keith and Brenda. With 9 kids and 8 adults.... the kids have officially taken over!!
My 2 month old babe wearing his adorable 6-9 month christening outfit! 12.17 he had his two month checkup and weighed in at 15lbs. 8oz. (99th percentile) and grew to 24.5in.(96th percentile).
