Well, it's taken the better part of this past week to come to terms that Norah is now two. Joel and I have had such an amazing two years with her and feel so blessed to share in every single one of her milestones. She is a funny, smart, beautiful, kind, loving and adventurous little lady.... I really couldn't ask for a better kid. She loves playing outside with bubbles and chalk, going to the pool, dancing, reading, praying to Jesus, loving on her brother(sometimes the hugs look more tackles... we're working on that), cuddling with mom and dad, pointing out "big scoops" (excavators) and playing with her toys and puzzles. She is polite and usually says please. Before naps and bedtime she walks up to her crib, bows her head and folds her hands to pray.
She woke up to find a new stroller and a "Melmo" balloon. She was in heaven!
My mom, sister and I made Norah some delicious cake pops. She absolutely loved them! They were so easy to make and I'm excited to make them again.
Next time I make them I will use less frosting, they were a little too mushy.... delish but, mushy. Recipe can be found
here.
hmmm, which one should I pick??
After Norah's nap it was time for more presents! She got some really great gifts, I think her favorite was the cozy coupe.
Joel was also
very excited about the coupe!
Happy 2nd Birthday my sweet Norah!
She was very excited to see the "Melmo" cake after dinner.
Norah, you are a blessing to our family. I love being your Mommy!
